During Bread for the World's annual Lobby Day, hundreds of hunger activists from across the United States are visiting their members of Congress, asking them to increase funding for poverty-focused development assistance-- real programs that can make a significant contribution to improving the lives of the world's poorest people. -In light of the recent hunger crisis, we must increase our commitment to programs that provide sustainable assistance to hungry and poor people.
