Diapers? Food? A pack-n-play?" in 5 minutes instead of thoughtfully making a list of what would most benefit the family or be easy to resell. that's what I meant rather than "who is more deserving?" They had no information to determine who was most needy. The contestant just grabbed everyone who would talk to her and there happened to be a homeless family present. Some people shopping were regular middle-class Target shoppers. sorry if that wasn't clear!CCYLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00863723919107019344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1497896879385906557.post-15380522714164106732008-04-07T17:44:00.000-05:002008-04-07T17:44:00.000-05:00Every episode of TBG has been worse than the last....Every episode of TBG has been worse than the last.

I feel sorry for the "lucky" people chosen to be the recipients of the "Give." They are constantly reminded of their terrible circumstances and repeatedly told how much is being given to them, leaving them with absolutely no self-esteem and marked for the rest of their lives as the pathetic slobs who received
a hand-out.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1497896879385906557.post-86048762308736150892008-03-28T21:39:00.000-05:002008-03-28T21:39:00.000-05:00I'd never watched the show but, like you, have bee...I'd never watched the show but, like you, have been curious about it. I agree with most of what you say but have the greatest problem with determination of need. Where do they get that information?

I think someone's homelessness or having had a baby doesn't automatically qualify them as "needy" by, well, my definition. I guess the only thing I've got to say is if you have to throw money around, at least ill advised stunts are as good as enriching a bunch of D-list celebrities for their crazy reality shows.

Thanks for the review!MKSinSAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17664764724446726205noreply@blogger.com
